The FRMs organization and modes of operation guarantee a shared governance that exclude any possibility of the appropriation of decision-making powers by a single person.
Several bodies ensure the governance of the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale, for shared power is better controlled. With the exception of the Executive Board, they are composed of volunteer members (which is not mandatory for a foundation but is a statutory choice of the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale).
